Volunteer Events Assistant 

We are looking for a number of event assistants who can attend local and national events, helping us to fundraise and raise our profile.

Some of these events are small one-day events such as local fêtes and coffee mornings; other events are larger and longer such as New Wine and the Christian Resources Exhibition.

What does the role involve?

Coordinating with the Support Development Officer to attend local and national events and conferences

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Comfortable volunteering within a group or by yourself
  • Able to use your own initiative, but also to ask for help when you need it

Please note: due to the nature of our work, you will be required to fill in our volunteer application form and undergo an enhanced DBS check (at our expense).

How much time will I need to give?

Dependent on location; however, you would need to attend a one-day induction at our site in Rutland, and our two annual sale days in May and November.
